【CLTSC】2022.04.24 International students experience tribal culture of aboriginal residents
To help the international students in our center get to know more about the local culture in Taitung, we organized a cultural-based experience class on April 24, 2022, in Duli tribe. In the morning, we took the international students to Jialulan Park and Taiyuan Gorges to enjoy the scenery and driftwood- made art works. In the afternoon, we visited Duli tribe and Amis cultural folklore center. We experienced Amis culture, such as, making hand-rolled cigarette, blessing woolen ball, and singing Amis songs.
During this class, students were encouraged to help each other and collaborate to complete the tasks. This not only helped them build stronger bonds with one another but also allowed our international students to become more familiar with the culture in Taitung and benefit from their learning experience.
