課程特色

Chinese course for international students in NTTU, cooperate with the NTTU semester .

Classes are divided according to the students' test level.

Provide 10-15 week Chinese course at the beginning of each semester.

 

教材內容

Taking daily conversation, local culture, and academic needs as learning topics. Provide relevant Chinese courses to help NTTU foreign degree students improve their Chinese proficiency and link up with professional courses in various departments.

Teacher chosen the textbooks "New Practical Audiovisual Chinese" 《新版實用視聽華語》,"Contemporary Chinese“《當代中文》, "Far East Life Chinese" 《遠東生活華語》, etc., or self-edited textbooks to meet the students’ needs.

 

文化體驗

CLTSC holds variety cultural excursions, help students and language partner experience Taitung’s rich and diverse culture.

Festival Celebration/Tribal exploration/Tourist Attraction/Cultural Exchange

 

諮詢輔導

Each students will have 2 language partners to help living in Taitung and Chinese language tutoring.

The center will have teaching assistant from 1pm to 3pm every Monday, tutoring on schoolwork related questions.

 

開課時間

NTTU international students are free, non-degree students are welcome to attend classes at their own expense. The fee calculation method is as follows:

Course Content:

1. The price is for per person/ per class (per class takes 50 minutes.)

2. Standard of charge will be based on the announcement on the center’s website.

3. Location：National Taitung University, Zhiben Campus.

※If there are more than two students at a time, only group registration is accepted; for individual registration, please choose a one-on-one course.

 

Remarks:

1. The application day, registration day, and class start and end dates, in the event of a national holiday, typhoon, natural disaster, etc., announcing the suspension of work will be postponed one day.

2. The class time will be arranged between 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday. The detailed time will be coordinated with the course students and teachers.

3. If there is any adjustment, and the center reserves the right to adjust and notify.

 

 

注意事項

1.Chinese classes for international students will be opened depending on the situation every year.
2.The tuition fee does not include textbooks and teaching materials.
3.Demanded by the Ministry of Education, students apply for Visitor Visa for Chinese courses (visa code: FR) need to have Chinese class at least 15 hours per week.
4.Applicants who have received scholarships from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, please note that the center can only apply for scholarships from the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the students register. The operation process takes about 6 to 8 weeks. Students should ensure that they have sufficient funds to pay the tuition fees and living expenses for the first month in Taiwan.
退費辦法
1.Refund refer solely to tuition refunds. Registration fee, insurance and other textbook fee will not be refunded. Students who summit a refund form one day before the course starts are entitled to 100% refund of the tuition; before passing the first third of the total class hours are entitled to a 50% refund; no refund will be granted after the first third of the total class hours.
2.Students who cannot attend the class due to the force majeure need to submit a refund request within a week. The refund application time is subject to the application documents received by the center, the process will take about 7-10 days.
